Active Child - Live in Concert 2011-09-17 7th Street Entry Minneapolis, MN Pretty mind-blowing stuff here. Active Child occupies the same sonic landscape as the recent James Blake / Bon Iver collaboration, with falsetto (and sometimes processed) vocals over synth beats and delicate textures. Lead singer Pat Grossi is in a different league though, he is a singular vocalist, with more power and control than I have ever seen from any band in a rock club.
